Abbreviations and Codes Used
* Wind speed averaged from 9am to 6pm     V - wind direction variable      n - next day     p - previous day     + - no reading taken, next entry is a cumulative total      *** Ideal Weather Day - see description below

General Weather Description Terms
Clear - no cloud visible throughout the day
Fine/Sunny - dry and mostly sunny, generally free from excessive cloud
Partly cloudy - roughly half or a little more of the sky obscured by cloud for most of the day
Cloudy - cloud obscuring most of the sky
Overcast - sky completely obscured by cloud
Fine***/Clear***/Sunny*** - ideal weather day - a dry sunny day during which weather conditions are much better than normal for the time of year and ideal for outdoor activities. Criteria include: maximum temperature equal to or higher than the long term average, no more than two eighths of cloud cover during the day, and light winds averaging less than 8 kms per hour.

Maximum and Minimum Temperatures
The maximum temperature for a given day is the highest temperature recorded for the 24 hours ending at 9am the following day. Occasionally when a warm day follows a cool day the 9am temperature may exceed the peak on the previous day which can give a misleading indication that the previous day was warmer than it actually was. When this happens "0900n" will appear in the Local Time column under Max Temp.

The minimum temperature for a given day is the lowest temperature for the 24 hours ending at 9am on that day. Occasionally the overnight temperature may not drop as low as the 9am temperature on the previous day which can give a misleading indication that the overnight minimum was colder than it actually was. When this happens "0900p" will appear in the Local Time column under Min Temp.
