MARCH  2013



March 2013 was a mostly dry month with mild cloudy days.

The rainfall total of 55.4 millimetres was a little below the average with most of the rain falling in the first four days. There were only light falls during the remainder of the month.
The first half of the month was cool and cloudy with day temperatures well below normal. During the second half conditions were warmer and sunnier. Overnight temperatures were close to normal and there were no notable extremes.
Winds were mostly light to moderate easterlies and there were no thunderstorms.


Noteworthy events:
1st-2nd - A low pressure trough passed through northern New South Wales generating moderate rain totaling 44.6 mm over the two days causing minor flooding in Dumaresq Creek in the evening of the 1st and during the day on the 2nd.
